Automation Testing Engineer -

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Testing Engineer with over 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in automation testing with hands-on experience in Selenium and exposure to Calypso. Overall Responsibilities:

Automation Testing:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks to enhance test coverage and execution efficiency.

Testing Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies for various applications.
• Identify areas for automation and define best practices for automation testing processes.

Integration with Calypso:

• Utilize Calypso for testing financial applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within the application ecosystem.
• Conduct testing related to trade life cycle management, risk assessment, and compliance features within the Calypso platform.

Defect Identification and Reporting:

• Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed reports on testing outcomes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to process improvements within the testing lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation testing tools and methodologies.

Skills and Experience:

• Automation Testing Proficiency: Strong expertise in automation testing methodologies and best practices.

• Selenium Experience: Hands-on experience with Selenium, including the creation of test scripts and framework development.

• Calypso Exposure: Familiarity with Calypso or similar financial applications, particularly in the context of quality assurance.

• Quality Assurance Fundamentals: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve complex issues swiftly.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear updates and collaborate effectively with team members.
