Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Ansible and Linux Administrator to join our IT team. The
ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Linux-based systems and
automating workflows using Ansible. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in GitHub
workflows and repository management, with knowledge of Terraform and
CloudFormation Templates (CFT) considered a plus.
This position combines expertise in system administration and advanced automation to
ensure the efficiency, security, and scalability of our infrastructure. You will be working
closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance our existing
infra, enabling faster, more reliable delivery .
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and manage Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS,
Ubuntu).
Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and conduct routine maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and connectivity.
Generate and review daily health check reports.
Expertise in LVM configuration, NFS, and storage management.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems.
Troubleshoot daily issues related to disk space, CPU/memory usage, and service
restarts.
In-depth knowledge of centralized authentication tools such as CyberArk and
Active Directory.
Identify and resolve OS vulnerabilities, determining root causes.
Solid experience with satellite servers and patch management workflows.
Practical experience with vSphere, including snapshots, backups, and restores.
Develop and manage Ansible playbooks for configuration management and
application deployment.
Automate tasks and standardize infrastructure using Ansible workflows.
Proficient with Ansible Tower for managing and orchestrating automation.
Experience creating Ansible templates and mapping inventories.
Optimize and troubleshoot Ansible scripts for improved reliability and scalability.
Manage GitHub repositories, branches, and workflows.
Set up and enforce repository permissions, access controls, and security
policies.
Automate processes using GitHub Actions and tool integrations.
Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, playbooks, and
troubleshooting procedures.
Develop and manage Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD processes.
Automate build, test, and deployment workflows for software applications.
Ensure Jenkins pipelines are efficient, scalable, and meet team needs.
Configure and maintain Jenkins infrastructure (nodes, agents, security).
Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for version
control and GitHub workflows.
Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools (e.g.,
ServiceNow)
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Ansible Tower for automation and configuration management.
Experience with GitHub, including repository management, pull requests, and
workflow automation.
Familiarity with Terraform and CloudFormation Templates (CFT) for infrastructure
as code.
Strong knowledge of Linux-based operating systems (RHEL8/9).
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, supporting
development and operations teams.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or
similar.
Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools (e.g.,
ServiceNow).
Experience with monitoring and security tools like Dynatrace, CyberArk, and
platform( vCenter, AWS)
