Description:

We are looking for a well experienced and hands-on Technical Delivery Manager to join our team to manage one of our esteemed Clients existing Applications modernization, development, project delivery and L3 Support initiatives from Offshore/Nearshore locations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 12+ years of software development experience and at least 5 years of end-to-end solutions and delivery management experience with Global Organizations.
• The technology landscape involved is primarily on Java microservices, GCP, Cloud services, L3 Support Services (Cobol/Mainframes and Java based Applications), and enterprise tools.
• Should have experience in Cloud Technology like Google Cloud platform or any other Cloud services.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different time zones and cultures.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Experience with project management tools and software.

Role & Responsibilities:

• The Delivery Manager will coordinate between various business stake holders, product management and the leadership teams.
• Ideal candidate needs to have a good engineering mindset, understanding and strong command of the technology landscape to manage the delivery of the engagements while working closely with the Agile/Scrum teams.
• This role requires strong technical project management skills, technical acumen in Java backend technologies, Cloud Services (Google Cloud), and the ability to work effectively with the Cloud Development and L3 Support teams in US, Brazil and in India.
• Should have client-facing experience and have worked in a cross-functional matrix organizations. Need to work closely with client stakeholders, offshore development team, Senior Management and multiple onsite teams.
• Work closely with Clients onsite Leadership on daily basis, reviewing the progress of the engagement, suggesting course corrections, bringing in innovative ideas, mitigate risks and issues.
• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks.
• Single Point of contact for customers for any UST Delivery-related matters.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Monitor the delivery processes being followed in each of the engagements and take measures to address any gaps.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and motivate team members.

1. Stakeholder Management:

• Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns.

2. Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Implement processes for continuous improvement and lessons learned.

4. Reporting:

• Generate and present project status reports to stakeholders, including progress against timelines and budget.
• Maintain documentation for all project phases.

5. Change Management:

• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources effectively.
• Ensure that all changes are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
