Associate Vice President - Legal & Compliance

Looking for someone from Life or General Insurance industry who has exp. in handling IRDAI compliances.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in ensuring the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to general insurance, including those set by IRDAI and other regulatory bodies.

2. Ensure that the data submitted to IRDAI are complete and as per the requirement. Stay abreast of regulatory developments in the insurance sector.

3. Assist in developing and implement strategies to ensure timely compliance with new regulations.

4. Advice to management and staff on regulatory matters, including changes to regulatory requirements that will impact on the Company's business activities and compliance arrangements.

5. Timely updation of the IRDAI requirement related to Compliance, policy with the Board/Audit. Draft and review insurance policies, contracts with various providers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and protect the company's interests.

4. Attending and assisting CCO and Head Corporate legal to Audit Requirement for legal and compliance related matters/Investor Requirement and Track/follow up with actionable from Audits.

5. Assisting CCO for handling inspection conducted by IRDAI or any other external authority.
