Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced QE Manager to lead our Quality Engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products through robust functional testing, efficient automation strategies, and team collaboration. This role involves managing functional testing processes, building automation frameworks, and driving innovation to enhance quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Functional Testing Leadership: Oversee end-to-end functional testing processes to validate application workflows and business requirements.Ensure the creation, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Automation Strategy and Implementation: Design and develop scalable Selenium automation frameworks to streamline testing. Collaborate with the development team to integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline. Identify opportunities to expand automation coverage for functional and regression testing.
• Team Management and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of functional and automation testers to deliver quality results. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. Provide performance feedback and career development opportunities for team members.
• Collaboration and Cross-Functional Engagement: Work closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to align quality goals with project objectives. Participate in sprint planning and requirement analysis to ensure test readiness.
• Metrics and Reporting: Define and monitor quality metrics, such as defect density, test coverage, and automation ROI.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in functional testing and Selenium-based automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools like TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
