Senior Data Engineer - Datastage (5-10 yrs)

About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting batch jobs for the MTS Team, managing and troubleshooting Datastage and Python job failures, handling new tasks in Datastage, Python, and AWS, researching Remedy Incidents, monitoring Brinqa scores, and following up with admins. Additionally, they will upgrade Datastage and Python jobs and perform monthly updates on Spectrum and Verimove DB files.

Key Responsibilities :

- Support batch jobs for the MTS Team.

- Manage and troubleshoot Datastage and Python job failures.

- Handle new tasks in Datastage, Python, and AWS.

- Research and resolve Remedy Incidents.

- Monitor Brinqa scores and follow up with admins.

- Upgrade Datastage and Python jobs.

- Perform monthly updates on Spectrum and Verimove DB files.

Required Qualifications :

- High-level proficiency in Datastage and SQL.

- Strong experience with SQL, Unix, Datastage, Python, and API.

- Ability to manage and troubleshoot job failures effectively.

- Experience in handling new tasks in Datastage, Python, and AWS.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with PLSQL, AWS (RDS, React, Glue, API), XML, and Facets.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Technologies :

- Datastage : High-level proficiency required.

- SQL : High-level proficiency required.

- Unix, Python, API : Strong experience required.
