Azure DevOps Migration Specialist

Lead the end-to-end migration of Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines (CI/CD), artifacts, wikis, and work items from one Azure AD tenant to another.
Migrate and reconfigure JIRA boards, workflows, and integrations to align with the new tenant structure.
Ensure seamless transfer of Azure DevOps permissions, access policies, service connections, and security configurations.
Optimize and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines post-migration for performance, reliability, and security.
Implement best practices for Azure DevOps governance, branching strategies, and compliance in the new environment.
Work closely with stakeholders to validate migration success and address post-migration issues proactively.
Automate repetitive tasks and leverage PowerShell, Azure CLI, REST APIs, or Terraform where applicable.
Required Skills Experience:
Proven expertise in Azure AD tenant-to-tenant migrations for DevOps assets.
Strong knowledge of Git, YAML-based pipelines, and Azure DevOps Service Connections.
Experience with JIRA administration and migration, including workflows, boards, and integrations.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Azure CLI, and REST API usage for automation.
Deep understanding of Azure DevOps security, RBAC, and access policies.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve migration challenges.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with developers, IT teams, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps administration, migration, and CI/CD pipeline management.
Experience in Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for DevOps automation.
Familiarity with Hybrid Cloud environments, GitHub Actions, and Multi-cloud DevOps setups.
Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices and security hardening in Azure DevOps.
