Finance Executive

Job Description:

This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the finance and accounting domain. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks and work closely with senior finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Transactions: Manage all accounting transactions in strict compliance with established accounting principles and company guidelines.
• Payroll Management: Oversee payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of salary payments.
• Invoice & Bill Management: Prepare and enter invoices, bills, and checks into the accounting system.
• Financial Closures: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to ensure accurate reporting and timely completion.
• Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Bank Payments: Ensure timely and accurate processing of bank payments and account transactions.
• Data Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality of financial data and conduct periodic database backups as necessary.
• Financial Policies Compliance: Comply with all internal financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial entries and account records.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update general ledgers, ensuring accurate tracking of financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors / MBA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
• 0-2 year of experience in a finance or accounting role is a plus.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and taxation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of accounting software will be added advantage (e.g., Tally).
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
