Lead Security Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Overall 8+ years of experience in information Technology preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Security.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CISM, CCSK, CISSP, and ISO27k would be of added advantage.
• Adequate understanding of ISMS process, Risk assessment and relevant experience to architect Security services or recommend solution to protect processing company/clients network/information
• Typically a background in technical security roles or operations, with a clear and abiding interest in security.
• Experience in improving and streamlining business processes and procedures.
• Experience in managing vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, Identity and Access management service, SOC services.

• Ability to identify and drive service improvement initiatives.
• Ability to interface with vendors, contractors and business partners.
• Maintain a good relationship with key stakeholders including business partners, suppliers and other IT departments & security teams to deliver on security requirements timely and effectively.
• Review vulnerabilities and identify root causes for common issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Provide suggestion to improve vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, Identity and Access management service based on current trends in information technology (Network, system security software and hardware).
• Understand security policies, procedures and guidelines to all levels of management and employees.
• Organize and preparation of the security status dashboards including presentation to executive management and supervisor.
• Being a Security Team Member, protect and manage security services for companys global security infrastructure.
• Maintains current knowledge of industry, emerging technology, regulatory trends and developments for the enterprise security.
• Define and report on information security KPIs.
• Evaluates new cybersecurity threats and IT trends and develops effective security controls.
• Analyze metrics and report trends and opportunities for process improvement
• Create analytical reports and presentations as required, highlighting trends and identifying potential issues
