Associate Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assocciate Manager with 7 to 8 years of experience in hydrometallurgy processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Production Manager in overseeing daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager with administrative tasks such as production scheduling and timesheet management.
• Oversee the appointment of labor and procurement of stock to maintain seamless production.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and workforce requirements.
• Monitor quality control throughout the production process to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Ensure timely completion of production tasks to meet deadlines.
• Oversee the procurement, operation, and efficiency of production equipment.
• Keep the Production Manager informed about project status, challenges, and improvements.
• Coordinate production activities with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage production budgets and optimize production costs effectively.
• Work independently under the Production Manager while collaborating with the production team.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Evaluate staff performance and facilitate training programs to enhance productivity and skill development.

Key Qualifications:

• B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 7 to 8 years of experience in hydrometallurgy processes.
• Strong knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including cobalt, nickel, copper, aluminum, and lithium.
• Expertise in electrowinning processes, leaching processes, and precipitation of cobalt and nickel.
• Strong knowledge of quality control, budgeting, and production costing.
• Proficiency in production planning, resource allocation, and process optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
