Role Overview:
Atria University is seeking a visionary and dynamic Programme Director - Digital Transformation to lead the development, execution, and continuous evolution of its cutting-edge Digital Transformation program. This role is critical in shaping academic excellence, fostering industry relevance, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. The Programme Director will champion innovative learning methodologies, mentor students, and build strong partnerships with industry and academia to prepare future-ready graduates who can thrive in the fast-evolving digital era.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership and Strategic Vision

  • Define and implement a forward-looking vision for the Digital Transformation program, aligned with industry trends, emerging technologies, and societal needs.
  • Collaborate with the Directors of relevant Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to develop impactful and interdisciplinary academic programs.
  • Constitute and engage with a Board of Studies (BoS) comprising experts from academia, industry, and research institutions to guide program evolution.
  • Conduct regular program reviews to ensure curriculum relevance and excellence.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with other programs within Atria University.


2. Curriculum Development and Faculty Coordination

  • Design and continuously refine an innovative curriculum that balances technical depth, conceptual rigor, and practical applications.
  • Integrate Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodologies and hands-on experiential approaches into the curriculum.
  • Identify, recruit, and coordinate faculty members, including professors, industry practitioners, and guest lecturers, to ensure high-quality course delivery.
  • Collaborate with other Program Directors to ensure the seamless delivery of common courses.
  • Leverage cutting-edge tools and platforms to enhance the digital and experiential learning experience.


3. Research and Innovation

  • Promote research and innovation through participation in external agencies and other CoE initiatives.
  • Embed emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, IoT, and big data into the curriculum and research activities.
  • Publish academic resources, case studies, and journal articles on digital transformation topics.
  • Encourage faculty and student involvement in research addressing real-world challenges.


4. Student Engagement and Mentorship

  • Mentor students in academic decisions, career pathways, internships, and research opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of self-driven learning, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Organize extracurricular activities, including hackathons, innovation labs, and guest seminars, to enhance student engagement.
  • Coordinate with the placement team to facilitate internships and employment opportunities for students.


5. Academic Administration and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (UGC, NAAC, NIRF, etc.) and manage program documentation for accreditation.
  • Track and report program outcomes using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Provide assessments of equivalence for inter-university collaborations and student transfers.
  • Participate in faculty recruitment, faculty development programs, and university outreach initiatives.


6. Industry Collaboration and Partnerships

  • Build and maintain partnerships with industry leaders to align the curriculum with real-world demands.
  • Develop opportunities for certifications, internships, and live projects.
  • Host guest lectures and seminars by industry experts to provide students with practical insights into digital transformation.




Position Programme Director - eMobility
EducationPh.D. in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, with substantial academic or industry experience. Skills RequiredAdvanced knowledge of eMobility topics, including EV design, charging systems, and smart mobility technologies.
Excellent teaching and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Proficiency in modern educational tools and platforms. Experience12 - 15 of academic experience, including curriculum design, teaching, and programme management.

Role Overview:

The Programme Director - eMobility will be responsible for leading the academic development and delivery of cutting-edge eMobility programmes. With a primary focus on teaching, The director will also play a critical role in developing innovative teaching methodologies, fostering student engagement, and contributing to curriculum design in alignment with industry needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Academic Leadership and Curriculum Development

 Lead the design, review, and continuous improvement of eMobility programmes to reflect advancements in the field and industry demands.
 Integrate interdisciplinary approaches by collaborating with other departments (e.g., energy science)
 Develop partnerships with industry and government bodies to incorporate real-world projects and certifications into the curriculum.

  1. Research and Innovation in Teaching

 Incorporate emerging trends and technologies in eMobility into teaching practices, such as:

  • Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) systems.
  • Artificial intelligence in mobility solutions.
  • Sustainable transportation policies.

 Encourage student and faculty involvement in research projects that address current challenges in eMobility.
 Publish educational resources, case studies, and academic papers related to eMobility teaching methodologies.

  1. Teaching and Curriculum Delivery

 Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, workshops, and classes in eMobility-related topics,
 Utilize innovative teaching methods, including hands-on labs, project-based learning, case studies, and virtual simulations, to enhance student understanding.
 Ensure alignment of the curriculum with the university’s sprint model, emphasizing modular, fast-paced, and outcome-driven learning.
 Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including supervision of research projects and internships,
 Evaluate and assess student performance, offering constructive feedback to support learning outcomes

  1. Student Engagement and Development

 Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Master’s degree in a relevant field with significant academic or industry experience.

Strong project management skills, especially in fast-paced, time-bound environments.
