Lead/Principal Statistical Programmer

Atorus is looking for an experienced Statistical

Programmer to support the development of Metadata driven SDTM automation.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Senior Statistical Programmer is responsible for producing basic analysis displays and information from the clinical data management database and programing all tables, listings, and graphs necessary for a clinical study report in accordance with Atorus and/or sponsor standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH Guidelines and sponsor requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and/or quality control (QC) SAS datasets of clinical data from clinical databases; create and/or QC safety data sets; create efficacy datasets; create project specific macros and formats; load client data from other platforms and other software packages; prepare data to be sent to clients
• Mandatory skill - Hands-on experience with CDISC/SDTM/ADaM/TLF programming.
• Prepare and/or review documentation describing all datasets and variables within, including derived variables, and the project as a whole
• Perform data checks as needed, to ensure integrity and correctness of data displays. Prepare documentation for programs
• Program and/or QC customized data displays, (including data listings, summary tables and routine graphics) in accordance with approved statistical analysis plan and shell displays for clinical research studies. Code is to be written using Base SAS programs, SAS procedures, R, or standardized macros.
• Perform data checks as needed to understand structure and content of data
• Assume responsibilities for data transfers, including documentation
• Act as lead programmer for projects
• Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in computer science or math degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years clinical programming or SAS programming experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of SAS, SAS Macro, R, Python language.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Some travel required for meetings.
