Business Analyst + Architect + Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to function as a Business Analyst, Architect, and Full Stack Developer, leading the development of our next-generation ERP system, ALIMS 2.1 / IntelleSphere, built in Python using Django for the backend and frontend. This role involves evaluating the current ALIMS 2.0 (developed in the Laravel Framework), ensuring alignment with current and future business needs, and leading a team of engineers to design and implement a scalable, AI-ready architecture.

The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of business analysis, full-stack development, and team management while working closely with US-based clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis

• Work closely with US-based clients and stakeholders to gather and document requirements, including future business goals.
• Analyze ALIMS 2.0 (IntelleDocs and IntelleHub) to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop comprehensive gap analysis reports and functional requirements documentation.
• Map workflows and processes using tools like Lucidchart, Miro, or similar.

2. System Architecture

• Design a Python-based modular, scalable, and AI-ready architecture for ALIMS 2.1 / IntelleSphere.
• Ensure architecture supports multi-geography profit centers, integration with third-party tools like BIM360 and Procore, and predictive analytics.
• Leverage open-source frameworks and libraries to accelerate development and reduce costs.

3. Full Stack Development

• Lead the transition from Laravel-based ALIMS 2.0 to Python-based ALIMS 2.1.
• Develop and implement scalable APIs using Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Design and build responsive, mobile-optimized web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
• Oversee database design and optimization using MySQL or PostgreSQL.

4. Team Leadership

• Manage the engineering team, ensuring clear task delegation, performance monitoring, and mentoring.
• Act as a bridge between the US-based clients and the India-based development team, ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

5. Deployment and Scaling

• Oversee the migration of on-premise systems to the cloud, ensuring high availability and security.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Define and enforce data storage, archival practices, and security protocols.

6. Performance Monitoring and Optimization

• Conduct performance testing and optimize system speed and reliability.
• Integrate predictive analytics and machine learning models into the system for advanced insights.

Key Deliverables

• A detailed gap analysis report of ALIMS 2.0 within 2 months.
• Comprehensive architecture plan for ALIMS 2.1 / IntelleSphere within 4 months.
• Fully functional modules deployed iteratively within the 24-month timeline.
• A clear roadmap for leveraging open-source tools and libraries for faster development.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Strong expertise in frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar.
• Experience in database design and management using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, including services for storage, computation, and security.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and modern integration practices.
• Strong command of open-source development practices and tools like GitHub.

Business & Analytical Skills

• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Ability to map business workflows and identify system gaps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on bridging technical and business needs.

Leadership Skills

• Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with US-based clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Experience

• 10+ years in software development with progressive responsibilities.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to modern, cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
• Experience working with construction management systems like BIM360 is desirable.
