Atlassian Developer

We are seeking a skilled Atlassian Developer with expertise in the Atlassian suite of applications. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions, leveraging DevOps and Agile principles to support business and development operations.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to design and demonstrate solutions using the Atlassian suite. 

- Develop, configure, and customize Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and Bitbucket to meet business needs. 

- Develop and maintain custom workflows, automation rules, scripts, and integrations across the Atlassian ecosystem. 

- Configure and manage projects, permissions, issue types, boards, and SLAs within Jira and JSM. 

- Integrate Atlassian tools with external systems, leveraging APIs and third-party plugins to enable seamless workflows. 

- Provide insights and recommendations on best practices for Agile methodologies, leveraging Atlassian tools to enhance team collaboration and delivery. 

- Support DevOps practices by integrating Atlassian products with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and other development tools.

Qualifications 

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

- Minimum 5+ years of experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket). 

- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing custom workflows, automations, and integrations in the Atlassian ecosystem. 

- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Javascript, or similar scripting languages. 

- Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps like ScriptRunner and Advanced Roadmaps. 

- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines. 

- Agile certification (SAFe, Scrum Master, or PMI-ACP) (Preferred). 

- Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator

- Atlassian Certified JSM Project Administrator (Preferred) 

- ITIL Foundation certification (Preferred).
