QC Manager reqd For our manufacturing unit (Power & Steel) in Odisha

Role & responsibilities

1. Q.C job of all in-coming raw-materials of DRI plant like Iron Ore, Coal , Dolomite & all in-coming raw-materials of SMS like Pig Iron, Silico- Manganese, CPC, Met Coke, Ramming Mass etc.

2. Thorough knowledge of analysis of the above materials & finished products.

3. Conversant with In-process analysis (Day- Bin) of all raw-materials & analysis of Furnace melt samples & Billet with all required parameters in shift.

4. Dispatch of Finished products/ by-products like Sponge Iron, Billet, Coal Fines, Iron Ore Fines, Dolo- Char etc.

5. Attending complaints raised by customers whenever required & plan for dispatch accordingly.

6. Preparation of daily reports for MIS, in Excel sheets & in ERP

7. Preparation of daily stock report of Finished goods

8.Administrative control, Manpower planning, deployment of workers & contract labours in different areas for smooth functioning of department.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferably Science Graduate with Chemistry as one the subject. Must have worked in managerial role for any manufacturing company.
