Astria - Backend Developer - Node.js Frameworks (5-7 yrs)

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Back End Developer at Astria Digital.

As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with back-end web/software development using Node.js, MongoDB, AWS Lambda, and object-oriented programming (OOP).

This role is based in Bengaluru with the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities :

- Develop server-side logic using Node.js.

- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

- Implement security and data protection measures.

- Integrate data storage solutions such as databases (NoSQL).

- Performance tuning, improvement, and troubleshooting of applications.

- Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Work with WebSockets to enable real-time communication features.

- Utilize NLP libraries for Node.js to enhance application functionalities.

- Leverage TypeScript for scalable and robust development.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of strong proficiency with Node.js frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.

- Experience with WebSocket implementation.

- Familiarity with NLP libraries for Node.js.

- Proficiency in TypeScript.

- Team-leading skills.

- Knowledge of React (added advantage).

- Familiarity with LangChain.js and vector databases (added advantage).
