Job Description
- Solution Design and Development: Design comprehensive application solutions that address business needs and challenges. This involves creating architectural designs that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Technology Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for application development projects, considering factors such as performance, scalability, security, and integration capabilities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and Digital teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure that the proposed solutions align with the organizations strategic goals and technology standards.
- Initiatives CI/CD Oversight: Provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle, from initial concept through to implementation and support. Guide development teams to ensure adherence to architectural designs and best practices.
- Integration Architecture: Design and oversee the integration of new applications with existing systems and software, ensuring seamless operation and data consistency across the enterprise.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure application solutions are optimized for performance and user experience. Conduct system performance analysis and recommend improvements.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure application architectures comply with relevant regulations and standards. Incorporate security measures into the design to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for application architectures, including design specifications, integration patterns, and deployment guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in a specific area of expertise.
- Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities.
- Reporting: Regularly report on initiative progress and outcomes/value to your Capability Lead and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and deliver effective solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered.
- Participate and collaborate with the users, business analyst, quality assurance/quality control analyst in the gathering of user requirements and specifications
- Participate and conduct feasibility study, research and development, prototyping and proof of concept (PoC) in implementing new/existing systems, solutions and processes
- Participate in the technical and project documentation such as but not limited to functional, system and technical design, requirements and specifications
- Working Knowledge on integration methodologies, patterns, best practices, adapters, open connectors Proficiency in development tools (NWDS, ESR, IB, IS Web UI)
- Lead architecture design workshops and build/integrate/deploy state-of-the-art architecture for SAP applications on SAP BTP Cloud
- Develop and review codes, programs and configurations to verify consistency and conformance with established programming and industry standards, guidelines, policies and practices
- Conduct incident and problem analysis, data gathering, investigation and resolution of issues, and provide technical consultancy, assistance and support
- Deliver the required systems/applications/solutions on time and based on agreed budget and specifications
- Identify, assess and recommend opportunities for application and process improvement
- Provide regular and effective progress updates to the project manager/team lead/supervisor/immediate manage
- Perform detailed design, Configure, Build integration and technical architecture components of applications and systems
- Bachelors or Master s Degree in computer science, engineering or information systems, or STEM Degree
- Experienced in driving BTP-related topics (developments, guidelines, etc.) in a DevOps and/or agile environment
- Demonstrated ability to Analyze technical and business requirements and translate these into basic and detailed technical design
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies
- Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support
- At least 2 SAP end-to-end implementation experience and at least 1 S/4HANA Implementation / upgrade experience
- Ability to adapt to fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks at a time and self-motivated to learn advanced technologies
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Stay current with the latest SAP Integration Suite features and functionalities
- You will remain up to date with the latest SAP BTP functionality and services and be able to provide thought leadership and further drive adoption of best practices
- 8-10 years experience with SAP IS (Integration Suite on BTP platform), SAP Cloud Integration (CPI),CPI-DS, SAP Netweavers Process Orchestration (PO 7.5) single Java stack and any other cloud middleware
- Experience PO upgrade/migration to BTP using SAP Cloud Migration tool, FIGAF migration tool, INT4 regression test tool
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration- Design and development of Integration Scenarios along with B2B integration using Trading Partner management (TPM) and implementation of interfaces and mappings in integration Advisor
- Experience expert knowledge in Application development using Java or Nodejs or ABAP, building scalable cloud applications and In depth knowledge on authentication protocols such as Oauth, SAML, OpenId
- Ability to architect integration concepts from SAP to SAP and from SAP to non-SAP tools. Specifically SAC to S/4HANA, SAC to SAP Datasphere , SAC to Ariba and to establish Live (data federation) and (scheduled) Import connections
- Extensive work experience on Azure cloud migration projects migration of SAP PO from on-premise environment to Azure environment
- Hands-on solution experience with SAP PI/PO middle-ware BTP Integration suite on services such as Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API setup (ODATA, REST, etc.) , SAP Accelerator Hub, SAP Cloud connector , SAP Cloud, Cloud IAS(Basics)
- Knowledge of SAP systems functionality, SAP Fiori UX principles, and CAPM (using NodeJS) is highly desirable
- Have Knowledge on Spring, Git and GitHub, abapGit, Jenkins, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, ODATA, SAP HANA, HTML5/REST
- Strong programming experience in Cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry, utilizing languages like JAVA, NodeJS, Python is highly desirable
- Expertise in SAP API Management / SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) / SAP Integration Suite / SAP Gateway /GitHub platform
- Good Knowledge on Cloud Transport Management System
- Knowledge in Cloud Application Programming Model, and Client (Business Application Studio)
- Experience in SAP BTP administration, including hands-on experience with Integration Suite, Mesh, Data Sphere, Workzone
