Qualification: Chartered Accountant

Accounts Management

• Preparing and maintaining statutory books of accounts, reconciliation statements, fixed assets registers, financial statements, and annual reports, ensuring compliance with time and accuracy standards.
• Coordinating the preparation of projected P&L accounts, bills, and balance sheets in line with the requirements of banking authorities and financial institutions.
• Preparing inter-unit reconciliation statements to reconcile cash and bank balances, working closely with bank authorities for accurate and timely settlements.
• Overseeing order processing and credit clearance in accordance with company credit policies, and scrutinizing vouchers for payments as per the companys procedures.

Taxation & Auditing

• Developing and managing tax plans to ensure the timely assessment and filing of direct and indirect tax returns, including TDS, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory regulations such as Income Tax, GST, and the Companies Act.
• Conducting annual audits and evaluating internal control systems to identify potential areas of improvement, and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
• Managing corporate taxation, accounts, and finance-related activities for the company.
• Liaising with government departments and regulatory authorities, including the Tax Department, to obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
• Collaborating with Income Tax authorities for the timely filing of TDS, Service Tax, and Sales Tax returns, tax assessments, exemption-related benefits, and registrations.
• Coordinating internal, statutory, and tax audits, and evaluating internal control systems to identify any deficiencies, proposing solutions, and implementing recommendations.

System Implementation, MIS, and Coordination

• Designing and implementing systems to ensure the smooth functioning of financial and accounting operations across the organization.
• Supervising the preparation of Management Information System (MIS) reports to provide senior management with insights on financial performance, including fund management, risk control, and profitability.

Budgeting & Fund Management

• Formulating capital and revenue budgets, conducting ratio and variance analysis to assess deviations between projected figures and actual expenditures, and taking corrective actions where necessary.
• Preparing timely and accurate budgets and management information reports for senior management and joint venture partners.
• Overseeing financial matters, including working capital management, ratio analysis, capital budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
