Sr. Engineer - Production and Planning IMD

Part II Job Purpose

• 100% adherences of production targets including machining & secondary operation
• Effective Planning of RM ,Manpower ,Machine Capacity etc.,
• Monitoring RM stock
• Allocation of resource
• Day wise dispatch planning
• Implementation of Productivity Improvement techniques.
• Monitor the molding process to ensure high-quality production
• Handling NPD trials and optimize process cycle time.
• Ensure optimum utilization of Resources
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

PART III PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Production carried out as per daily Plan

• Product right at first time-throughput
• Maintain on time in Full (Customer Commitment 100%).
• Optimum utilization of the Manufacturing Capacity.
• Process optimization and Continuous improvement in cost reduction.

PART IV ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mold follow up with tool room and ensure the mold availability.
• Process improvement for each component and reduce the cycle time.
• New component trails carried out and optimize process efficiency
• To ensure availability of Work Instruction, Setting data sheet & SOP instruction for machinery operations with updation.
• Provide training for effective productivity and improve the skill.
• Improvise on the SOP’s to achieve optimum productivity.
• Lead corrective action and problem solving activities and participate in continuous improvement activities thus looking for Process excellence.
• Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including purchase, stores, Planning and Assembly.
• Provide Plant floor supervision leadership for effective compliance to operation
• Analysis product wise cycle time, Breakdowns and conduct respective department supervisor/in-charge meeting.
• Patrol product wise and initiate required actions.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance
• Necessary preparation of resource allocation planning before production cycle begins.
• To ensure effective resource allocation.
• To ensure run the production smoothly.
• Confirm production run as per the BOM.
• To ensure everything is in place for each stage of production to start.
• Monitoring on line runner grinding and the same has been consumed in line with BOM.
• Co-ordinate with purchase team to maintain optimum inventory
• Monitoring production orders status and should be closed within target period.
• Reconciliation of RM and sub assembly parts, end of every month and ensure nil deviation.
• To ensure dispatches as per scheduled time line.
• To review and ensure MOQ status

• DME/BE – In Mechanical Engineering with Injection moulding process knowledge
• 8 to 12 Years in which Minimum 5 years worked as Engineer/ Sr. Engineer position in Injection Moulding Process.
