Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Production Planning and Control Manager to oversee and optimize our production processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that production schedules are met, resources are efficiently utilized, and production goals are achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet business goals and customer demands.
Resource Management: Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and manufacturing teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Capacity Planning: Assess and plan for production capacity requirements to ensure that the facility can meet current and future demand.
Quality Control: Ensure that production processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to minimize waste and avoid shortages.
Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the production planning and control team to achieve departmental objectives.
Performance Monitoring: Track production metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, engineering, and logistics, to align production plans with business objectives.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and resource management.
Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
