1. Risk Assessment and Client Advisory
Facilitate risk assessments for clients to identify potential coverage gaps and risk improvement measures.
Advice clients on appropriate coverage options based on their unique risk profiles.
Joint meetings with the Sales team for client presentations and discussions on product propositions
2. Insurer Liaison and Negotiation
Intermediate between clients and insurance companies for policy placement.
Negotiate terms, coverage limits, premiums, value added add owns and policy endorsements with insurers to secure favorable terms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters at various insurance companies to ensure competitive offerings.
Build up product propositions to differentiate from Competition for measured success in conversion
3. Policy Structuring and Customization
Structure customized insurance solutions based on client requirements and industry-specific risks.
Work with insurers to create tailored policies, endorsements, and modifications where standard coverage doesnt meet client needs.
Ensure policy terms and conditions are transparent and suited to client risk tolerance.
4. Renewals and Retention Management
Proactively manage policy renewals, including assessment of any changes in the client’s risk profile.
Identify opportunities to enhance coverage or reduce costs for renewals, supporting client retention.
Prepare renewal proposals and present them to clients, ensuring they understand any policy changes.
5. Claims Support and Advocacy
Act as a client advocate during claims, liaising with insurers to support efficient and fair settlements.
Provide technical assistance in the claims process, especially for complex or large claims.
Monitor claims performance and provide insights on loss patterns to clients for risk improvement.
6. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis
Stay updated on market trends, pricing changes, and competitor offerings.
Use market intelligence to advice clients on the best coverage options available.
Analyze competitors’ products to recommend enhancements to client portfolios.
7. Documentation and Compliance
Ensure thorough documentation of all underwriting decisions, negotiations, and client interactions.
Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements in policy placement and renewal processes.
Maintain clear and detailed records for audits, claims management, and compliance checks.
8. Relationship Management and Client Servicing
Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary contact for any policy-related queries.
Provide ongoing support and risk management advice to clients to build trust and loyalty.
Work with account management teams to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
9. Data Analysis and Reporting
Track portfolio performance, claims ratios, and trends to identify risks and growth opportunities.
Generate reports for senior management on client portfolio performance and market insights.
