Role & Responsibilities:

- Build robust and scalable catalog management system that helps business quickly expand product assortment as well as launch new categories

- Improve discoverability of product pages by curating structured metadata in collaboration with business teams

- Build superior merchandizing, pricing and promotions engine that empower the category team to drive business outcomes

- Work with UX/UI teams to ensure the product category pages are intuitive, visually appealing, and conversion-focused

- Work with cross functional teams to integrate new features or tools that improve category performance

- Communicate product updates and changes to internal teams and external stakeholders

- Monitor and analyze ecommerce product performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, and use this data to make informed decisions about product strategy and development

- Stay up-to-date on ecommerce industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and use this knowledge to inform product strategy and development

- Analyze market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and risks

Experience & Qualification Required:

- At least 2 years of experience in product management in a leading ecommerce company

- Exceptional problem-solving skills based on the first principles of thinking

- Good understanding of technology, and comfort with product management processes such as A/B experimentation, writing product requirement documents, managing product backlogs, and creating roadmaps

- Experience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, or custom platforms)

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills to get work done across different functions and drive product development
