Associate Manager - Hair Care & Cleansing (HCC)

The employee will be responsible for the lab activities as well as Technical Service support to local regional customers.

The employee should be an active team member for projects in Personal care industry involving Hair Care Cleansing (HCC) segment.

Lab Projects : Generate new ideas, develop such ideas using existing lab facilities Evonik s hair care ingredients. Perform projects with customers to commercialize new applications, technical advantages of Evonik s products in various applications related to hair care cleansing. Well versed with different product formats, shampoos, conditions, scalp care, serums, etc

Technical Service : Support Customers by responding to enquiries, complaints and visiting them to give presentations, product promotion and provide plant assistance as well as travelling both domestic and international as needed.

Competition : Identify competition products vis- -vis ingredients from Evonik and evaluate to generate competitive data for various applications/industries.

Market Trends : Identify market trends, survey the market potential for hair care cleansing applications in India and publish a report on the same.

Trade Shows : Active participation with hair care technical expertise at exhibitions, fairs, conferences, conventions etc.

Training : Provide technical training of traditional/new applications in labs for Sales Marketing colleagues and Distributors / Customers.

Communication : Active participation in global projects as team member by Webex, tele-conferences, group discussions projects.

Reporting : Technical Reports, Lab Reports, News Letters / Posters for promoting New Products or Ideas.

Education: M. Tech in Cosmetics or Master s degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering (or equivalent in any field related to Technology)

Experience: Min. 10 years of experience in Application/ Technical Service lab of Personal Care specialty chemicals company or FMCG.

Hands on experience in hair care formulation laboratory.

Additional knowledge in cosmetic regulatory standards will be an added advantage.
