Job Description
Role Summary
Commodity Manager is the Custodian of Raw Material Management across all Crompton Products Majorly Fans/Pumps/Appliances.
He will responsible for Raw Material Price & Supply Management to ensure Price competitiveness & Delivery Adherence
Job Responsibilities
1)Finalize Month on Month Raw Material Prices for Copper/Aluminum/Steel/Cast Iron/PP/ABS/Stainless Steel/Packaging etc.
2)Market Benchmarking & Intelligence on Prevailing Prices across competition.
3)Circulate Impact of Commodity Price Movement on Product BOM.
3)Develop Strategy for Cost Optimization through Alternate RM/Alternate Source/Best Country Sourcing/SCM Optimization, Negotiation Etc.
4)Create Operating Strategy for all Raw Materials & Present to Management.
4)Researching Potential Vendors & Negotiating Prices.
5)Co-Ordinating with Internal Stakeholders during Product & Part Development.
6)Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to resolve Quality & Supply Issues related to Raw Material
