Associate Director - Chennai
Role Summary:
- Candidate will be required to develop business through Distribution Partners in Chennai and to lead a team of Executives for sales & service functions. The role will also require him/her to support senior management's initiatives in serving existing investors, family offices and wealth management firms.
- The role requires strong communication skills, both oral and written, for working with clients and distribution partners.
- Core understanding of stock markets, mutual funds and investment products are necessary. Passion to understand the merit of various niche investment products and participate in internal research briefings are important. Strong communication skills, both oral and written for working with clients and distribution partners is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, nurture, and enhance relationships with distribution partners, identifying opportunities for mutual growth and collaboration.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and effective support, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Identify new business opportunities within the existing client base and partners, leveraging relationships to drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 4-8 years of experience in relationship management in wealth/asset management, with a strong focus on client servicing and institutional partnerships.
- MBA, CFP, CFA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a client-centric approach, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels.
