Job Summary:

The Associate Director of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire B2B sales team. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining relationships with key enterprise clients, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for the edtech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the B2B sales team to achieve and exceed team sales targets.

- Foster a high-performance sales culture through continuous training, development, and motivation.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Strategic Planning and Market Research:

- Identify key players in the IT industry through extensive market research aligned with business strategy.

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

- Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Sales Operations:

- Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, tracking sales goals and reporting when necessary.

- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients and stakeholders.

- Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts.

- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives and policymakers, building rapport and establishing long-term relationships with corporate clients.

Business Development and Networking:

- Promote the organization in various forums by networking in the industry.

- Create and maintain a wide networking base across MNCs for business development.

- Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps, and execution.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective lead generation campaigns.

- Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on market trends and client needs.

- Partner with customer success and support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

- Gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others.

- Use insights to refine sales strategies and enhance the value proposition of our products and services.

Market and Tool Proficiency:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments.

- Excellent knowledge of internet-based recruiting tools(e.g., LinkedIn, Monster, DICE, Hot Jobs, CB, etc.).

- Develop compelling strategies that deliver results with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the edtech or technology sector.

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

- Passion for education and technology.
