National Plastics - Assistant Sales Manager (5-9 yrs)

NPIPL is a private limited company incorporated in the year 1992.

NPIPL caters mainly to the Beverage Packaging industry through manufacture of PET Preforms, Bottle Crates, Food Containers, and Display Racks.

The company has manufacturing facilities in Chennai, Sriperumbudur, Puducherry, Roorkee and Silvassa.

It is one of the largest manufacturers of PET Preforms in India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.

- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Collaborate with internal teams (e. , sales, production, and supply chain) to align on client needs, supply-demand balance, and pricing strategies.

- Travel to identify new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor the performance of existing ones.

- Prepare and present compelling business proposals, sales reports, and market insights to management.

- Continuously identify growth opportunities and areas for business expansion within the region.

Qualifications:.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred).

- Experience: 5-9 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the packaging, manufacturing, or food & beverage industries.

- Demonstrated success in business development, achieving targets, and driving revenue growth.

- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Proactive, results-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the region for business development and supplier management.
