Assistant Professor - English

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in English literature, language, and linguistics courses.
  
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student learning outcomes meet institutional standards.
  
• Conduct research in areas of specialization such as creative writing, critical theory, or applied linguistics to stay updated on industry trends.
  
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and conferences to contribute to curriculum development and professional growth.
  
• Mentor students on academic papers, thesis guidance, and career counseling.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must have Master's degree (M.A) & UGC NET cleared/Ph.D./Doctorate (Ph.D.) in English Literature or related field from a recognized university.
  
• Minimum 2-7 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level.
  
• Strong knowledge of pedagogy principles for effective classroom instruction.
  
• Excellent communication skills for clear presentation delivery.
