Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, and Data Mining courses.
- Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, and assignments to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Conduct research in areas such as statistical modeling, mathematical modeling, data visualization, etc. and publish papers in reputable journals.
- Supervise Ph.D. scholars and guide them towards successful completion of their projects.
- Participate in departmental activities like curriculum development, committee work, etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Master's degree (MS/M.Sc.) or Ph.D. in Mathematics/Statistics/Data Science/Data Mining from a recognized university.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus; statistics; data science; data mining; machine learning algorithms etc. .
- Proficiency in programming languages like R/Python/C++/Java; statistical software packages like SPSS/SAS/R/Matlab; data visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI etc.
