Description- Tendering (PM-KUSUM)
Designation: Assistant Manager
Work Experience: 4-5 Years.
- We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Tendering Managers at Asst.Manager level to join our team and help us expand our clientele in the PM-Kusum Component A/B/C. The role will be critical as he will be the front of our company, dedicated to creating and implementing effective sales strategies, particularly in understanding the "PM-KUSUM tender, Policies, State active participation, its PQ eligibility, and bidding procedures." Etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for solar pump business and community drinking water solutions & other PM KUSUM Policies.
- Segment and penetrate the market through tendering processes and dealer networks.
- Arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients, majorly government entities like MNRE, SECI, SIA's etc.
- Promote our products/services by addressing and predicting client objectives.
- Prepare engagement contracts ensuring legal compliance.
- Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide reliable feedback and after-sales support.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Stay connected with market stakeholders for timely information.
- Conduct project viability studies and present findings to management.
- Understand, review, and suggest improvements in renewable policies/regulations.
- Analyse tender documents and manage pre-bid and post-bid client and vendor interactions.
- Prepare bids, interact with vendors, optimize costs, and manage bidding.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tendering, costing, and bid documentation for solar pump projects.
- 4-6 years of business development experience in distributed renewable projects.
- Demonstrated success in order booking and securing repeat orders.
- Experience in customer support is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office and English.
- Strong market knowledge, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.
- Educational qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics, MBA in Power Management/International Business from a reputed institute.
