Role & responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Oversee and manage the inventory of products at the main warehouse and branch locations. Ensure physical stock is maintained as per the accurately as per the book of accounts.
Stock Movement Audit:
Audit the movement of stocks between the warehouse and branches to ensure alignment with billing and documentation.
Documentation Verification:
Verify the accuracy of documents and daily registers maintained at remote hubs using electronic systems. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all documentation.
Report Consolidation:
Consolidate data from inventory management software and prepare comprehensive reports for the management team. Highlight discrepancies or trends that require immediate attention.
Inventory Reconciliation:
Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations to ensure alignment between physical stock and system records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process.
Process Optimization:
Identify and implement improvements to inventory management and reporting processes. Collaborate with warehouse and branch teams to optimize stock handling and reduce wastage.
Communication and Coordination:
Liaise with branch teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and operational challenges
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Team player with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
