About the job:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building ground team and scaling sales in a given region. Must be handy with data - Analysis / Visualization / Interpretation, sales forecasting, competitive research. Must have Problem- solving skills, Adaptability, Negotiation Skills , Networking, Multi- tasking. He / She will be responsible for scaling the Fastag activation and other metrics interlinked with it.
Responsibilities:
• Sales Target Achievement: Setting and achieving sales targets for the assigned area or territory. Developing strategies to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas.
• Team Management: Recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales representatives.
Providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their performance and productivity.
He / She will be responsible to manage 50-60 FSE directly.
• Territory Management: Defining and allocating sales territories to the sales team. Planning and
organizing sales activities within the assigned area to ensure maximum coverage and
penetration. Ideally he / she will be traveling across given territory to ensure full fledge
operations of 15 20 tolls given region.
• Sales Planning and Forecasting: Developing sales plans, strategies, for the given area. Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to forecast sales growth and identify potential opportunities. Optimizing current resource and increasing the efficiency on the
ground. Must be data originated who can understand past trend, work on multiple data,
getting insight out of current data and strategizing and improving the productivity on ground.
• Sales Reporting and Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing sales data, market trends, and
competitor activities. Preparing regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to
evaluate sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Sales Training and Development: Conducting training sessions and workshops to enhance the
sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team. Keeping the team updated with industry
trends, product updates, and sales techniques.
Holding 100% ownership from driving numbers, resolving the ground issue, hiring and rehiring
team from FSE / TL coming up with new initiatives. Acting as a bridge between the management
and ground.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or MBA.
• 2-5 years of experience in sales and handling large team (Direct or Indirect).
• Some from Issuance / Banking / telecom - Field sales industry preferred.
Sales Process: 90% of FASTAG sales happens on tolls, its important to keep tolls active by deploying sufficient manpower on Tolls. Manpower can resource locally or else from the competition who are well aware about activation process of FASTAG.
To ensure hygiene is followed in terms of visiting the tolls, Fastag distribution, rooster of FSE /TL.
10% Fastag activation happens in City / Metros area / Malls / Petrol Pumps / RTO.
