Assistant Manager/Manager Audit and Assurance

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee audit engagements from planning to completion across internal departments.

- Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.

- Develop and deliver audit findings, along with actionable recommendations, to senior management.

- Track and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure effectiveness.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior audit staff.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance internal processes and controls.

- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Reporting Manager or Head of Department based on engagement requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA preferred).

Experience:

- Minimum of 3-5 years for Assistant Manager.

- Minimum of 5-8 years for Manager.

- Strong understanding and application of audit methodologies, techniques, and risk assessment practices.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Proven ability to lead and manage audit teams effectively.

- Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders across levels.

- Proficiency in relevant audit tools and technology is an added advantage.
