AM - Regional Logistic - FMCG Brand - GIL (RPSG Group)

The role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics and supply chain operations for West India. One needs to collaborate with various teams, including transportation, warehousing, and procurement, to ensure the efficient movement of goods and timely delivery to customers. The role requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, supply chain management, and the ability to optimize regional logistics strategies.

Job Description

• To handle the entire warehousing and Transportation of Regional CFAs
• To have clearance of their SF/Warehousing bills
• Handle regional sales SCM issues
• To maintain warehousing practice and keep visiting warehouses
• To optimize secondary freight and make route plans
• To deploy PDPs (permanent dispatch plans) with help of RSMs
• Finding/upgrading new warehouses
• Handling regional SAP queries and make sure smooth month end etc..
• Demand forecasting of regional sales and chase the same in consent with RSM
• Improve asset utilization & direct distribution deliveries
• Streamline S&OP, labor productivity & demurrage leveraging WMS & Yard management.

Education & Skill Sets Required

• Any Graduation / Post Graduation.
• Proven experience of 3+ years in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on regional operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, transportation, and inventory management
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Familiarity with relevant software (SAP) and technology used in logistics operations.
• Preferring Candidates from FMCG/FMCD Background.
