Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager - Banking Treasury
Location: Mumbai
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager/Manager specializing in Banking and Treasury Operations. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Commerce degree, CA Inter, or a PGBM qualification along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience in SAP is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Managing International cash balances by monitoring and ensuring necessary balances in each country
- Preparation of cash forecasting for assigned countries and consolidation of cash forecasts from other countries
- Preparation of payment runs, payment upload, payment preparation, currency exchange
- Managing bank guarantees issuance, renewal, closure, and associated accounting.
- Controlling Intercompany Loans and preparing Intercompany interest calculations, administration of loan agreements (control of limits, end dates and making of necessary adjustments in the agreements)
- Monitoring and settlement of interoffice balances
- Establishing strong relationships with banking providers, administration of lists of authorized signatories, users and their approval rights
- Submission of periodic reports to banks (CMA, QIS, FFR, Stock statements etc.)
- Managing the user set up in the banking systems
- Managing compliance with banking providers, update of KYC forms, authorized signatory forms, new user forms
- Working on implementation of enhancements/automation to our ERP system and it s link to banking systems
- Administering the company credit card, ordering cards, managing credit limits, assisting employees with issues
- Informing management of progress and roadblocks, identifying actions required
- Managing India import payments, foreign vendor accounting, and compliance with RBI guidelines.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Commerce degree, CA Inter, or PGBM qualification.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of banking operations, trade finance, and treasury management.
Hands-on experience in SAP is a must.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
