Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Finance at Citadel Sarovar Portico Race Course Bengaluru.
The role will involve day-to-day financial management tasks, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
The Assistant Manager Finance will work closely with the finance team to ensure financial efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis skills.
- Experience in forecasting and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping. Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and manage departmental budgets. Prepare and analyze revenue projections and cost forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and identify any variances. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a finance role within the hospitality industry (hotel experience preferred).
Education: Master's/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups). Experience with accounting software (e.g., Opera, Micros, Fidelio) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
