About the role
As a Brand Finance Executive, you will play a key role in managing financial analysis and reporting for the company's brand portfolio. You will be responsible for supporting brand strategies by providing financial insights that drive profitability, performance, and growth. This includes assisting in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and tracking brand performance to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
¶ Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Tracking the performance of New Product launches/Innovations
Conduct financial analysis for assigned brands, including sales, costs, spends margins, and profitability.
Prepare and present monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports related to brand performance.
Analyse variances between forecasted and actual financial performance and provide insights.
¶ Profitability & Cost Management:
Evaluating proposals for new product launch.
Evaluate the profitability of different brand initiatives and campaigns.
Assess and recommend cost-saving opportunities or ways to improve operational efficiency in brand activities.
¶ Financial Modelling & Business Case Development:
Assist in the development of business cases for new product launches, brand expansions, product restructuring and marketing campaigns.
Develop financial models to assess the financial viability of strategic initiatives and assess ROI.
Tracking the Pre-launch scenario to post launch scenarios and assess the delta between them
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions related to brand management.
Support marketing and brand teams in pricing decisions, product mix optimization, and promotional strategies.
¶ Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to provide integrated financial insights and recommendations.
Act as a financial business partner to various stakeholders, ensuring financial objectives align with brand and company goals.
¶ Ad-hoc Analysis & Reporting:
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management to aid in decision-making.
Continuously track the competitive landscape and market trends, providing financial implications.
¶ SLOB Inventory Management:
Tracking the SLOB FG Stock at various CFAs
Discussion with the logistics team and sales team in order to get the stock liquidated with or without scheme and help in releasing working capital for the organisation.
Key Requirements:
¶ Education:
Bachelorâs degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
¶ Experience:
3-5 years of experience in brand finance, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably in the FMCG industry.
Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
¶ Skills:
Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, SAP, etc.).
Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
¶ Knowledge:
Familiarity with the FMCG industry, brand management processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand performance.
Experience in analyzing and managing brand P&Ls.
