Job Role: Manager/Assistant Manager - Export (Region Middle East and Africa)
Reporting to: General Manager - Export
Qualification: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Industries: Stationery, FMCG, Automotive export experience preferred
Work Experience:
2 to 5 years in international sales and export management preferably in Stationery export domain.
Team Management: Individual Contributor
Location: Mahim, Mumbai
Duties and Responsibilities
Market Expansion:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share in the GCC and Middle East markets.
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities to drive sales growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
• Lead negotiations with clients, distributors, and partners to secure profitable deals.
• Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable to the company.
Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure
seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence:
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes that may impact the business.
• Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market data and sales performance.
Personal & Professional Skills:
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of the Middle East and African markets
• Ability to travel internationally when needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity for diverse markets.
