Assistant Engineer

Role Responsibilities

1. Detailed design and drawings in Solid works and Auto CAD using the industry best design practices and design standards.

2. Develop detailed 2D drawings, adhering to ASME Y14 drawing standards, applying GD&T and design for manufacturability principles.

3. Responsible for the development of 3D models, drawings, P&ID, BOM and taking them through the drawing release process and manufacturing.

4. Involved in NPI & NPD.

5. Support in design documentation & artifact presentation as per design process.

6. Continuously learns and grow technical depth knowledge across product lines.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Solid works and Auto CAD

2. Strong fundamentals on engineering basics, design for manufacturability, ASME Y14 drawing standards and GD&T.

3. Understanding of basic manufacturing processes like structural, sheet metal and welding.

4. Knowledge on basic manufacturing processes like copper pipe Cutting, Bending, Flaring and Brazing.

5. Knowledge on basic refrigeration practices like Leak Testing, Evacuation and refrigerant charge.

6. Understanding of heat and mass transfer concepts.

7. Knowledge on MS office.

8. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

9. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

1. Fundamental knowledge on basic Physics, Thermodynamics, R&AC and Fluid Mechanics.

2. Hands on experience in heat load calculations.

3. Experience / knowledge on Pharma Equipment are an extra added advantage.
