Sr Executive/Asst Manager - Accounts

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive Accounts or Assistant Manager – Accounts to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis, along with a good understanding of tax regulations and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping:
  
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Monitor day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting data.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare reports on profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Taxation & Compliance:
  
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns including GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings.
• Coordinate with auditors for the smooth completion of statutory audits.
• Monitor compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  
• Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor budget versus actual performance and provide recommendations.
• Cash Flow Management:
  
• Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for the business operations.
• Handle banking activities, including fund transfers, payments, and reconciliations.
• Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
  
• Assist in establishing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Continuously evaluate accounting processes and recommend improvements for efficiency.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Education:
  
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Professional qualification like CA (Inter), CMA (Inter), or similar is preferred.
• Experience:
  
• 5-10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit roles.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, taxation, and accounting systems.
• Skills:
  
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar).
• Expertise in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws (GST, Income Tax, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
