A Power BI developer uses the software to report and chart granular and multi-source data. This enhances the client company s data and business intelligence and allows them to streamline their clerical workflows. A Power BI analyst makes decisions and handles the completion of technical tasks during the software development stage. Responsibilities:

1. Should be able to participate effectively in requirement gathering sessions and provide appropriate suggestions to understand business requirements in the BI context.

2. To create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI.

3. To design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.

4. To identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently.

5. To analyze data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making.

6. To be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.

7. To design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis.

8. To perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI.

9. To use filters and graphs for a better understanding of the data

10. To create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.

11. To conduct data warehouse development.

12. To perform SQL querying for best results.

13. To write optimized queries as per requirements, should be comfortable with database object creation and maintenance like tables, Views, Stored Procedure, triggers, etc

14. To define and design new systems by analyzing current ETL processes.

15. To make technical changes to existing BI systems in order to enhance their working.
