Jewellery Merchandiser

Job Overview :

The Senior Merchandiser for jewelry is responsible for :

a) Developing and executing merchandising strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

b) For creating innovative designs and products according to the business targets, design calendar & customer requirements.

c) Researching and sending proposals to potential customers (Business Development). To develop minimum 1 new client in a span of 6 months with a minimum order value of 0.50 Lac dollar per month.

d) Modify and integrate new features in samples creatively by reviewing correcting products for technical accuracy from First Prototype to End for client approval.

* This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, production, marketing, and sales, to ensure a cohesive and successful product line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design teams to conceptualize and develop new jewelry collections based on market trends, customer preferences, and brand identity.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitor offerings, providing insights for product development.
• Develop and implement assortment plans that align with the overall brand strategy and meet sales objectives.
• Optimize product assortments based on historical performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with jewelry suppliers and manufacturers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective and timely production.
• Establish and enforce quality standards for jewelry products, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the supply chain to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
