Deputy Manager- Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled civil engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will

be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction building

structure and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with engineering standards

and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

 Develop and review project plans, layouts and structural

designs.

 Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other

professionals.

Construction Management:

• Oversee construction activities, ensuring they adhere

to plans, specifications, and quality standards.

• Provide technical advice and solve on-site problems

to maintain progress and quality.

• Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and

resources effectively.

Structural Analysis:

• Perform structural calculations and analysis to ensure

stability and safety of designs.

• Evaluate construction materials for suitability,

durability, and cost effectiveness.

Compliance & Quality Control:

• Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal

regulations.

• Implement quality control procedures to meet

engineering standards.

• Prepare and review documentation, including

blueprints, reports, and permits.

Environmental & Safety Standards:

• Conduct risk assessment and establish safety

protocols.

• Minimize environmental impact by recommending

eco-friendly practices.

Client Interaction:

• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and

provide progress updates.

• Provide engineering advice and recommend

solutions to meet project goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering &

construction.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering

software.

• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-

solving skills.

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and

legal regulations.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
