Job Brief - We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Specialist to lead and execute end-to-end testing for Healthcare Professional (HCP) data integration processes across systems, including the HCP Hub, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), and Veeva CRM. The role requires expertise in System Integration Testing (SIT), data ingestion, data validation, data mapping, and active collaboration with clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science, combined with hands-on experience in data integration, system testing, and quality assurance within the healthcare or life sciences industry.

Role & responsibilities

1. Data Integration and Validation:

• Validate seamless data flows between HCP Hub, D365, and Veeva CRM, ensuring accurate synchronization and data integrity.
• Oversee bulk data ingestion from vendors via Azure SSIS scripts and ensure smooth transitions into internal systems.
• Perform comprehensive validation of data transformations, ensuring no truncation, corruption, or loss.

2. Data Mapping and Reconciliation:

• Ensure consistent data structures and resolve mapping discrepancies in collaboration with Data Engineers.
• Validate the reconciliation of older consents from Veeva and new consents from D365, ensuring complete synchronization.

3. System Integration Testing (SIT):

• Design, execute, and manage SIT test plans and cases to validate the integration of various systems and workflows.
• Conduct rigorous testing of real-time and batch data processes to ensure system reliability.
• Identify integration issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve them promptly.

4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

• Act as a liaison between the QA team and the client to support UAT planning, execution, and sign-off processes.
• Guide clients in executing UAT scenarios, validating system functionality, and addressing feedback.
• Document UAT outcomes and ensure all critical issues are resolved before final deployment.

5. Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with Developers, and CRM teams to align on data integration goals and solutions.
• Generate detailed reports on SIT/UAT results, including findings, recommendations, and resolutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to align on testing objectives and outcomes.

Technical Competency:

• Strong expertise in System Integration Testing (SIT) and experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation, querying, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of data governance standards (e.g., GDPR) and consent management practices.
• Good to have Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)

Functional Competency:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA, focusing on data integration, validation, mapping, and testing.
• Proven track record in testing complex system integrations and ensuring data accuracy.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical domains is highly desirable.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot data and integration issues effectively.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in large datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Should be able to learn and upskill in new technologies.
