Job Summary: The Assistant Manager Finance will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. This role will support the Finance Manager in ensuring that the financial reports, statements, and records are accurate, timely, and comply with all accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
* Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations based on findings.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
* Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and board members.
* Manage financial audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
* Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
* Manage the accounts receivable and payable functions.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
* At least 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with experience in supervisory role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
* Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
* Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
