Roles and Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and ensuring all discrepancies are resolved.
- Data Entry and Documentation:
- Accurately input financial data into accounting systems.
- Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, and payment records.
- Manage petty cash transactions and documentation.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Provide support in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Generate financial statements and reports for management review.
- Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure all financial activities comply with legal and organizational policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and records.
- Support Functions:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of financial transactions.
- Respond to financial inquiries from stakeholders and provide relevant data.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
