Job Description
- Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our billing andpayment platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java using Spring Bootframework.
- Work with Azure cloud services, including Service Bus and other relevant offerings.
- Develop and maintain database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL.
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes.
- Integrate with Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, businessanalysts, and QA engineers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development / UA issues.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the platform.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development andthe retail finance industry.
- Mentor junior developers and share your knowledge and expertise.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and SpringBoot.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.Proven experience with Azure cloud services, particularly Service Bus.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL database development and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience with Kafka for message queuing and stream processing.
- Experience working in the retail finance domain, specifically on billing and paymentplatforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
