IT OT Application specialist and support

Role & responsibilities

• IT OT:
• Maintain current operational applications from an IT standpoint, ensure applications are up to date, operational.
• Vendor Coordination & Vendor-Contract Management
• Manage IT integration and interfaces for operational IT scope
• Facilitate infrastructure, network and security assessment and integration for applications and services in scope
• Ensure support for users and maintenance contract management
• Control shadow IT
• Apply IT standard and recommendations
• Applications specialist:
• Master functional and technical knowledge and capabilities
• Work with business to understand the need and details
• Assess and identify possible and adequate solution
• Identify vendors, benchmark and follow procurement process
• Deploy, engage business, support project implementation
• Ensure good functioning of the full ecosystem
• Support:
• Ensure support level 2 and 3 for applications and services in scope
• Follow and respect SLA
• KPI and report management
• Enhancement, optimization and risk management

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical:
• Diploma/relevant qualification in IT or Computer Science
• Technical and functional operation background
• IT knowledge for industrial applications
• IT knowledge for Infrastructure, network and security
• Organizational:
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments.
• Coordination skills.
• Team player with experience working with multi-cultural team
• Ability to understand and work with functional business teams and technical IT experts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
• Personal:
• Rigour and sense of organization.
• Analytical and synthesis skills.
• Ability to communicate and raise awareness.
• Regional travel will be required
• Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position or in the field of Industrial IT.
• Experience working in the manufacturing domain is a plus
• Willingness to learn new applications is a plus
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 is a plus
