Assistant Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly closing activities, ensuring seamless transition into new accounting periods.
  
• Prepare financial reports and statements for internal stakeholders using advanced Excel skills.
  
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bank reconciliations, TDS compliance, and material accounting.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience working with ERP systems (preferably) or willingness to learn quickly.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including bank reconciliation, TDS, and material accounting processes.
  
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to create complex spreadsheets and dashboards.
  
• 2-6 years' experience in an accountancy role within the manufacturing industry.
