Roles and Responsibilities:
Bench Marketing and Candidate Placement
Actively market bench consultants by promoting their profiles through various platforms, including job boards, LinkedIn, and professional networks.
Identify and pursue new opportunities for bench candidates by building relationships with direct clients, staffing vendors, and system integrators.
Ensure a quick turnaround for bench resources by identifying and placing them in suitable roles, reducing bench time effectively.
Client and Vendor Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and vendors to understand staffing needs and requirements.
Conduct regular follow-ups and meetings with clients to understand open roles and upcoming project needs.
Serve as a point of contact for client and vendor inquiries, providing a high level of customer service and support.
Sourcing and Screening
Source job requirements from various sources and match them with available bench consultants.
Screen and qualify open roles to ensure alignment with the skills and preferences of available bench candidates.
Regularly review and update candidate resumes to align with current job market requirements.
Negotiation and Contract Management
Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients and vendors to ensure mutually beneficial arrangements.
Work with internal teams to finalize contract documents, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Clearly communicate contract terms to candidates, clients, and vendors, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
Interview Coordination and Follow-Up
Schedule interviews between bench candidates and clients, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
Prepare candidates for client interviews, providing insights into client expectations and role requirements.
Collect and analyze interview feedback from clients, facilitating next steps and addressing any issues.
Onboarding and Post-Placement Support
Assist placed candidates with the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition to the client site.
Conduct regular check-ins with both clients and consultants post-placement to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain open communication with consultants to manage expectations and assist with contract extensions or new placements.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, job market demands, and competitive pay rates to keep consultants marketable.
Conduct research on emerging technologies and skills, advising bench consultants on valuable upskilling or certifications.
Monitor competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and industry best practices.
Documentation and CRM Management
Maintain detailed records of all candidate interactions, client communications, and placement processes.
Update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems with accurate and timely data.
Generate regular reports on placement activities, pipeline status, and bench utilization.
Compliance and Legal Requirements
Ensure that all contracts comply with federal and state laws as well as company policies.
Oversee visa and work authorization checks, where applicable, for consultants placed on projects.
Coordinate background checks and other pre-employment screenings as required by clients.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in [relevant field] or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Bench Sales Recruiter, ideally within the IT staffing industry.
Strong understanding of IT technologies, industry roles, and market trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks with strong time management skills.
Experience with visa types (H1B, OPT, CPT, etc.) and legal aspects of the staffing industry is a plus.
